Future Fund Land Trust

The Future Fund Land Trust became an official partner in 2018. In 1993, the Future Fund Land Trust was established with the goals of providing a 10,000 acre conservation overlay to protect the Floyds Fork Watershed from encroachment.

Floyds Fork is one of the last remaining natural streams in Jefferson County. The Future Fund owns over 4,000 acres of land along the watershed. In partnership with Metro Louisville, The Parklands of Floyds Fork & 21st Century Parks to assist in providing land for recreational space.
